If you want to be constructive, please apply your marketing expertise to making statements like: "Make sure you bring/say X, so reporters can focus on Y/take Z back to the home office/etc." Incidentally, given that even the most carefully constructed statements can be infinitely edited, the only way to avoid being misquoted is to say nothing at all -- which is just what the death-mongers want.
