In the message to which you are replying I did not mention you by name;
what I did was make some general remarks.

Helping what? I have attempted to participate in a discussion and as
far as I can tell there has been no refutation of anything I have
written either as being inaccurate or having a logical fallacy.

I agree that it is concise. However being concise does not guarantee
either accuracy or usefulness. I prefer to engage in thinking at a
higher level than bumper stickers; especially since the one mentioned
above can be quoted equally well either by someone who will likely lead
to a desired outcome or by someone who will lead to an undesired
outcome.

You can claim to see these things but since I wrote the words I assure
you that a characterization of my comments as "bellyaching,
catastrophizing, pontificating, and sniping" is false.

I realize that often there are strong disagreements about topics
discussed in this list. It might be helpful to avoid as much as
possible personalizing the disagreements and deal with the underlying
issues.
