X-Message-Number: 29200 From: "Marty Kardon" <> Subject: RE: CryoNet #29191 - #29197- Googled to silence Date: Tue, 27 Feb 2007 08:15:39 -0500 I, Marty Kardon, am still alive and well and I do read from time to time the postings on Cryonet and by sheer happenstance stumbled upon a long discussion of my prior postings and my motives for having stopped with them. The writer's suppositions were largely correct. When I saw that googling my name brought up all my personal posting and thoughts I decided I was done doing same. While I have never been subject to ridicule for what I wrote I just decided I was not interested in having the personal type discussions about cryonics plastered all over the free and not so free world. That was my mistake and naivet in not adopting a nom de plume but, so it goes. If Kevin Brown could go thru and "change" my name to something like.....canyoneer 11-17 [my hobby/passion combined with my date of birth] - I'd likely re-emerge, at least maybe there'd be a better shot at it. [I wonder if he can do so retroactively so that, eventually, the spiders would "forget" about me]. Anyway its remarkable and highly random to have emerged out of the frozen ether. I'm not sure if I should be surprised, flattered or exceedingly pissed off. In truth it's a combination of all three. So I'm still around and now once again fresh meat for the spiders and search engines. D. C. Johnson was completely correct although I'd have rather he used someone else as an example. Let's see what Kevin can do for me. Canyoneer 11-17 Philadelphia, PA Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=29200
