To me this suggests an exciting line of research. Maybe a kind of helmet could be designed that generates an electrostatic field in order to improve on the factor of 2 per 10 degrees C slowdown in degradation that we get at temperatures between body temperature and freezing before and during a cryonics stabilization, without using a refrigerator. Incidentally, would putting a living person in such a field kill or injure them? Live long and prosper, Kennita Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=29449
