There is a third group, though- those who do not think the choices are
mutually exclusive, but choose cryonics to extend their life on earth
if it works, but still hope to go to heaven.  Similarly, people may
elect to have triple-bypass operations but still expect to see their
god when they die.

Despite this (important) quibble, I support the main point that
nothing is more important to the future signup rate that the perceived
likelihood of survival.
