Interesting article, but as an alternative to cryonics one does not need 
time *travel* as such, merely transmitterless reception from the past to 
retrieve the program and data at the point of death. There is no causality 
violation with such a procedure. Maybe this is all that is needed, maybe it 
is possible, but maybe not.

So "belt and braces" suggests that signing up for cryopreservation is still 
a good idea. The act of cryopreservation and subsequent retention of the 
body is a transmission that can hopefully be received in the future.
