X-Message-Number: 29683 From: "Husst" <> Subject: Best legal places for Cryonics Date: Sat, 28 Jul 2007 06:37:06 +0200 Where is it best to live for Cryonics and otherwise? In our choice for optimal results, we better plan our living if we can. We know some of where it can work more or less good, I havent seen any longer list of tracking record. The first problem may be to get the body out in good time. Where are there problems to get a body out quick enough. Are there really problems in France, where else? Next is suspension and long time storage, where else is it legal. That cant be so hard to find out from a funeral service etc. Do You know or can find out, at least where You are, if we dont know? "Alcor strongly urges members living in California, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio to sign Religious Objection to Autopsy forms. " to avoid autopsy. www.alcor.org/problems.html There we have some limits where to live using that option. Then UAGA is only a good help in Arizona, but live there? Alcor had to move from California, CI had to change procedures recently. Where is the most political and legal stability for us. Can we trust American courts and politicians. It seems to be slower and more stability in northern Europe, I'm not so sure. Russia seem to be very new-liberal so far, they have other problems to deal with first, will they allow future Cryonics and can be trusted? Today we better die in Michigan or Arizona, Michigan is very cold sometimes and Arizona very hot with increasing waterproblems. Parts of England is drowned in rain. Perhaps there are more legal places to develop for us, as well as Cryonics as a whole. Changing laws is not so hard but takes time. Lets find out todays legality first and now if its unclear.
