By guessing 2018, you display an incredible lack of understanding of the science involved. The problem is vastly more complex than you seem to think. There is a very good reason why nearly all scientists believe it's impossible. It's because they understand quite correctly that it will take a very very long time to solve. So long, that they can't see it ever happening. At the very least, they all know that it won't happen in their own lifetime. So, in that sense, the establishment is quite correct. What make us different is that we can accept a longer-term vision of the future. But please don't go around predicting such ridiculous dates. It only convinces me that you are irrational, and that everything else you say on any other topic can no longer be trusted. The first mammal can't possibly happen until well into the latter part of this century, and quite possibly not until next century. Jordan Sparks -----Original Message----- I am going to guess 2018 for our first large mammal. And 2035 for the first human...probably preserved under much more near perfect laboratory conditions than most current cryonicists...to be revived from cryonics temperatures. And I further speculate that some iteration of 21st Century Medicine people will be the one's doing this. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=29733
