Someone emailed me saying that perhaps my comments were unwelcoming to women. I 
never meant to give that impression or have that effect. 
   

  I was just stating a theory about why things happen. As an analogy, if I argue
  that the sky is blue, that does not mean that I necessarily want it to be 
  blue or any other color. I am just saying that the sky is blue.
