Neural Transplantation: An Introduction. Freed, William J. Cambridge: MIT Press. At the time that book was written, brain transplants didn't seem to be too helpful or effective. But there was at least some evidence of transferring memories in the animal experiments - strangely enough. Human brain cells have been transplanted to mice, so one could ask the reverse question- at what point does a mouse become a human? :) Greg CryoNet <> wrote: I guess most parts of pig brains could be transplanted into humans who have brain damage to areas that do not affect their humanity part. At what point do you become a pig? Basie Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=29825 End of CryoNet Digest ********************* Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo!
