Subject: COLD FILTER-- CryoNet can't compare.
For CryoNet readers who manage to find my posts to
CryoNet in their email under the "Rate this message"
link, for those of you who haven't been plying the
high seas of online cryonics communications, take a
gander at Cold Filter.
http://www.network54.com/Forum/291677/
The one remaining advantage of CryoNet over Cold
Filter or any blog is that CryoNet still has the most
comprehensive email list of people interested in
cryonics going back to 1988. The Daily Digest still
includes the "Rate this Message" link-- through which
even I can post messages like this.
Most of the time, there's nothing very interesting
occurring on CryoNet, but it's still 'sensitive"-- as
recently proven with the sensitivty of, say, Harris--
to Maxim's CryoNet post. Maxim was said to have
"discovered" CryoNet-- and her post here brought
Harris back out into Cold Filter for awhile. So we
know the cryonics bigshots are tuned into CryoNet-- as
bad a "forum" as it has become-- and despite the
apparent abandonment of it.
There are several layers of irony occurring around
this entire issue of publishing in cryonics-- but I
don't want to waste my time describing them this
morning.
--Phil. (By the way, I didn't go to the Alcor
Conference-- so I have nothing to say about it at this
time-- watch for reports trickling in on--- Cold
Filter.
