Actually the CryoNet system is working very well indeed. The system of
ratings allows the CryoNet community to tag people who post off-topic,
or post flamebait, or commit other sins that tend to be endemic in
online discussions. Kevin Brown has provided a full and open
explanation of the system. Of course the people who have been tagged
are not happy about it, but they can always start forums of their
own--and indeed, in various ways at various times, two of the prime
offenders did exactly that.

Sounds good to me.
