Subject: MEDICAL INSURANCE-- Ettinger says everyone can afford it.
Ettinger wrote "Just in passing, it isn't true that
most ordinary people in the U.S. today don't have or
can't afford health care. Between Medicare, Medicaid,
employment plans, armed forces retirement plans,
various types of charity, and private insurance,
almost everyone has or can afford considerable health
care, and usually a lot."
From a Cold Filter thread on another topic. Ettinger
is posting more frequently there lately.

My comment-- I think he's overly optimistic. The
situation is rough for ordinary people in my opinion.
Let's put it this way-- I don't like it.
