You might think that most people would choose not to die today, and you might be right, but you would probably be wrong to think most people want to live forever. I think that Immortalists spontaneously occur due to currently unpredictable influences, hence the lack of effective advertising. I also have been thinking that if a person is to be an immortalist, the fact they have an indefinite amount of time to live is not the only factor. They would also thereby be motivated to spend their time as they wished. Who would want to work at McDonald's for an eternity?
