X-Message-Number: 30127 Subject: Funding Idea From: Kennita Watson <> Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2007 13:47:26 -0800 --Apple-Mail-1-145514582 format=flowed Would it work for someone to set up a portion of their life insurance policy to pay out to a trust that was instructed to give the appropriate fee to the cryonics organization of anyone in their family who signed up for cryonics? Basically a "join-me" trust. What happens to the money if nobody signs up, or if there's money left over after all applicable people have signed up, is a separate matter not within the scope of this discussion, except that it would want to be set up so greedy descendants couldn't swipe it. Is there some reason this couldn't work? Mechanically, that is -- the emotional issues, again, are separate.
