Subject: Robert Anton Wilson's "golden futures"

About a year ago, the counterculture writer and "futurist" Robert Anton Wilson
lay on his deathbed. It wouldn't surprise me if he reflected on his writing
career, especially the futurist stuff he published back in the 1970's and 1980's
which predicted the conquest of aging and death by certain dates that have
already passed, compared it with his current situation, and then asked himself:
"What the hell was I thinking (or smoking) back then?"

Wilson reportedly had the brain of his murdered daughter Luna Wilson frozen back
in the 1970's, but I don't know if a cryonics organization still has her in
suspension. I don't think Wilson got cryopreserved himself.
