Subject: CRYONICS BC antilaw

>From Mike Perry to Cryonet
22 Aug. 1994

Inspired by Ben Best, others, myself included, have begun
sending correspondence to BC regarding the anti-cryonics law.
So far the officials I know of who have been recipients of this
correspondence are in the Ministry of Housing, Recreation and
Consumer Services. Dave Pizer suggests, as an alternative,
sending letters to the C of C (I don't know if they are separate
from the MHRCS, but at any rate it's one more avenue of
approach.) I don't know the name of any official there but their
address is:

British Columbia Chamber of Commerce
1607 700 West Pender St.
Vancouver, BC V6C 1G8

Dave thinks that, if we make it clear to the C of C that BC could
lose in tourism and acquire a bad image over this, they could put
pressure on the necessary people to change the law. (He plans to
send them a letter soon.)
