With 9 members, is there some reason we can't be aiming
to have some *portion* (2, 3, 4?) membership-elected? It
seems this is not only more likely to actually have some
chance of happening, but it allows a period of evaluation and
comparison of the two groups, gives members a voice, lowers
the odds making a big mistake, and makes either method of
"outsider takeover" more difficult.
