People giving positive investment advice take on a lot more professional 
responsibility than if they advise against. I am not saying that in this 
particular case that was a major element, but there is always that 
self-protection element of bias in any such professional report of this 
nature. They get the same fee advising for or against a particular course of 
action, but their risk is greater if they advise in favour. Even if they are 
salaried rather than fee earning, the risk of the sack for a wrong decision 
is ever present.
