Subject: SA INC-- Maxim-- Michelle Fry defends status quo

Here we see Fry defend Baldwin's lack of action-- with
a clue-- Fry wrote

"Melody, for once I really agree with you however.
Catherine Baldwin is making changes as fast as she is
allowed to do. "

That's interesting. As fast as SHE IS ALLOWED TO DO--
As fast as she is allowed to do-- which is "glacially
slow" by Maxim's analysis... in fact so slow that acc.
to Maxim, "nothing has changed". And THAT is 'as fast"
as she is allowed.... Zero. Now THAT is slow.

Allowed by who?

Well obviously by Kent. And Kent, who in the 1960's
embarked on a cross country mission to CONSOLODATE
cryonics- - may still be attempting to DO that--
according to HIS agenda...

Another element to this is that Fry has worked inside
Alcor-- and in Laughlin-- a town named after Don
Laughlin-- by my guesstimation, worth one half of a
billion dollars...

And so the true outline of the hidden reality of
cryonics comes into view with Fry's post-- Fry has
only recently begun appearing in CF-- again--

Everything about cryonics is senistive-- the money,
the politics, the mindgames-- but remember one thing
as I lead you through this field-- I'm in favor of
cryonics... I'm signed up-- I want to see it work--
but to do that, we need to understand what cryonics IS
in the regular work a day world-- which is freezing
the dead... and if re-orient to that on a cyclical
basis-- we can understand the situation better.

I'm all for understanding things.

When a person dies, they legally have no rights other
than that described by their will... and after the
will is carried out... the entity of the personhood
vapourizes. The cryonics companies literally OWN dead
frozen corpses. This is how people view cryonics in
general. And in a way, it's a correct POTENTIAL view--
in that we don't know if cryonics will work... and
THAT is the essence of cryonics-- the uncertainty...
and to that extent.. we must be willing to live with
that uncertainty-- and to "die" with that
uncertainty...

The current underground campaign to POLISH up
cryonics-- and to avoid political squabbling-- does
NOBODY any good because it is intellectually
dishonest. The entire fabric of cryonics is being
conducted more in a way akin to cults than science--
otherwise why would Alcor have to hire public
relations agents and turn Cryonics magazine into what
looks like advertising?

My view is that cryonics should defend our right to
quickly preserve our dead frozen bodies. That right
eventually is going to have to be constitutionally
guaranteed. We will defend ourselves as frozen but
potentiallly alive, just like frozen embryos. And so
we must also defend the rights of frozen human embyos
to the extent that that's possible given the crazy
situation.
