Subject: PHILOSSIFUR'S Cryonet Commentary

FIRST WORD
I think I'll simply establish a routine of simply
indicating my presence here. For topical commentary,
there's nothing like an alphabetically tagged blog. I
see more evidence of people using that all the time--
except in the cryonics community. Short of a link to
the blog, I'd like to demonstrate how all cryonicists
can use Cryonet, as a sort of blog. My idea from a
couple of days ago-- posting many times-- is
interesting but ultimately not repeatable. THIS method
of posting I'm about to demonstrate IS repeatable.
List your topics like this....

ALCOR DEMOCRACY-- Dave Pizer-- fair
Here's my latest thought on that-- Somebody relayed to
me the idea of the 4 boxes-- the soapbox, the ballot
box, the jury box, and the bullet box... the idea
being that these boxes are used in a stepped up line
of action toward freedom in a democracy. Applied to
cryonics, count the 4th one out of course. However the
first 3 still hold. Given that, Dave is arguing for
the ballet box at Alcor. The problem here is that we
don't have the soapbox going yet-- which needs to come
first. Too many cryos simply don't participate
online-- and the blogs and forums mostly feature the
same people year after year.

BRAIN STATE AFTER 24 HOURS-- Cryonet search
Tracking lines of discussion Cryonet isn't as easy as
a threaded forum but in the interests of demonstrating
how Cryonet can STILL be used as a soapbox for those
who simply don't want to do a blog, we can look at the
CryoNet search engine. In this case, use the keyphrase
"brain state after 24 hours"-- without the quotes
because the Cryonet software doesnt' care about
those-- and you get a pretty capture of the latest
posts.. as long as you choose "newest"--

NANOTECH-- Nanogirl news-- Gina Miller
For the first time in some time, Miller has posted her
NanoGirl News-- which I don't read because the
excerpts are too long and there is no simple headline.
I would recommend Miller separate the first sentence,
by hitting return at the end of the first sentence so
it's easy for the eye to scan the entire post and
quickly survey the thing. As it is, it's too
cumbersome. Miller runs some online photos of
herself-- here's my favorite today...

ECONOMY-- US dollar crashing
Cryonicists are silent on the deadly strike against
the US dollar by Bernanke-- some think they're
intentionally destroying it-- and that's going to
destroy all of us ordinary cryonicists. This is no
time to be looking at Alcor democracy-- but rather
Alcor bank accounts, and Patient Care funds
locations-- as well as our own money situation. More
in my blog... my ALPHABETICAL blog-- which anyone in
cryonics with anyone to say, including you Dave, ought
to be running-- even if it DOES get spidered for the
public to see.
