X-Message-Number: 30393 From: Kennita Watson <> Subject: FDGD schedule/Go Cryo! plans Date: Wed, 30 Jan 2008 22:56:36 -0800 The schedule for this year's Frozen Dead Guy Days is up at http://frozendeadguydays.com/2008schedule.pdf . It's mainly just fun winter festival events, but I'm scheduled for seven one-hour slots over two days (in addition to my continuous info/survey booth presence). I've asked the event coordinator to update my entries to read: Real Cryonics , film and presentation about the frozen LIVING guys and their caretakers, at the FDGD LISTEN-UP THEATER at the BEST WESTERN LODGE. FREE " Last year there basically was no formal presentation; people asked me questions at my booth and listened to the questions and answers of others. If anyone has suggestions for a more formal presentation (that won't leave the booth unmanned for too long), please let me know. If you want to come to the festival and watch the booth while I do presentations, that would be great too! Also, I'm on the lookout for video clips and someone to help me edit them together onto a DVD. If you can help with either of these things, please write. Also, donations to Go Cryo! to help with expenses (press release, flyers, surveys, etc.) would be much appreciated. I think Go Cryo! is about ready for prime time, and after this year's Frozen Dead Guy Days I plan to take it out to the community (where that formal presentation may get some play, and/or where contributions to cover booth space may help). David Stodolsky's statistical analysis suggests different venues than I was initially considering; retirement communities may not be the best. Donations via PayPal can be made to ; via Snail Mail to Kennita Watson, 3790 El Camino Real #270, Palo Alto, CA 94306. Another use for contributions will be to officially register my DBA so that I can accept contributions as Go Cryo!, open separate bank accounts, and start working on 501(c)(3) status (or partnering with a 501(c)(3) organization) so folks can make tax-deductible contributions.
