Subject: AlCOR DEMOCRACY-- blog-- DPizer raises stakes bigtime

The biggest news event in cryonics for 2008-- is now
Dave Pizer's work on Alcor Democracy. By initiating a
deeper look at the possibility of democracy in Alcor,
it was perchance discovered by CPlatt that there was
indeed a legal precedent called Director Electorate in
Alcor that survived for 10 years-- until it was
dumped-- and so the investigation into this is now
intensely focused on that--

Dave is cross posting all over the place-- but I'm
compiling an alpha index as best I can and will add
more authors to the blog where we will compose a
document that tracks this important event in cryonics
for 2008. Here's a summary of Dave's latest post--
with a link to the full doc...

I've watched cryonics for years-- and I can say to all
readers that this is groundshaking-- and very very
significant to the point where I'm awe struck-- and a
bit nervous-- This is as big a situation now-- as
anything has been in Alcor's history-- and so those of
us who are sensitive to the cryonics situation-- are
watching every tiny little move by anyone of
significance in cryonics now-- this is a very edgy hot
topic...

There's likely a lot of emailing behind the scenes
going on right now-- and it's instructive to watch who
say nothing, as well as who says something. This is
now elevated to an orange alert-- higher than yellow--
not quite red... for those of you who know their
primary colors-- and how they mix.

Dave has introduced an urgency element that is a
little bit scary, as a matter of fact-- so anyone who
still has that list of Alcor members directory-- I
tossed mine out to avoid temptation of spreading my
political views-- should contact that list asap-- and
direct their attention to my Alcor Democracy blog
where we find the BEST compilation of this Pizer
effort....

This is so earth shattering that Dave is even
apologetic for uncovering this-- pointing out to
readers that he's just the messenger in this case--
and sure enough the Director electoate history is ON
the Alcor site. Dave has suggested that board meetgins
at Alcor should have attourneys present on Alcor's
behalf.... in other words... all hell is about to
break loose on this issue.
