    Doug, both of the experiments that you cite are with
rabbit sperm, which would hardly prove that lactamide is
the most effective cryoprotectant for all mammalian
tissues, including the brain. Moreover, neither of these
experiments are vitrification experiments. Both used
classical cryobiological freezing techniques
