It might help a little if whenever anybody asks
"How much does it cost?", the answer is "I have
a life insurance policy that will pay out $X to
cover it." rather than "$X, but I have ...", by
which point people have already essentially
stopped listening.

BTW, 28% of the people who answered this year's
survey at the Frozen Dead Guy Days knew that
cryonics could be paid for with a life insurance
policy, but over half of those still felt that it
was "far too expensive for me". Almost 2/3 didn't
know if it could be paid for with life insurance;
about two-thirds of them thought it was too
expensive; the rest didn't know. Oddly, over
8% stated that it could _not_ be paid for with
life insurance, and about 80% of those felt it
was too expensive; the rest didn't know.

Anybody who has time can go to blogs and other
discussions of the Barbara Walters special and
toss in a mention of life insurance; we clearly
have a lot of awareness work to do. There's
probably lots more to say about that, but not
at 5 AM.
