Wow.  Cautionary tale writ large.  I'm not
sure, but I don't think it gives a bad
impression of cryonics as it's practiced
today.  I'm confused, though.  According to
the interview, Bedford was in a capsule with
three others; was that the first capsule,
which Bob says was allowed to fail?  "All but
two ... are still sealed in the vault..." --
that would be Bedford and who?  And were they
removed when the decision was made to let it
fail but before it failed, or after it had
failed?  Where did he go after that?  I
wonder if that will be covered in the book.
The Wikipedia article says he was "maintained
in liquid nitrogen by his family until 1982".
Where?  IIRC, it sounded in the interview like
the capsules failed before 1982.

(I thought some of the poems after the
interview were pretty good.)
