Subject: gamblers

Various psychological studies have tended to show that most people, most of
the time, fear loss more than they crave gain. They value the status quo, and
this undoubtedly is a large part of the reason for the slow acceptance of
cryonics.

But of course there are exceptions. Seems pretty clear these are the

gamblers, which would include entrepreneurs and other venturesome types, such as
those who go for avant garde choices.

Again, this doesn't translate readily into any promising tactics, partly
because "gamblers" are not usually psychologically monolithic. Like everybody

else, they have their facets and their compartments, and someone who is bold in
business or fashion-wise or whatever can still be backward in re cryonics.

Still, maybe someone can figure out a new angle.
