Subject: Chance to help cryonicists in trouble

Hi Cryofriends

Here is an update on our fellow cryonaught,  William O'Rights.



The Venturists are working to raise $30,000 to fund Mr. O'Rights' suspension at 
CI ($28,000 for suspension and $2,000 for other expenses.


So far we have $500 in the bank for his campaign and several messages that more 
money is on the way.  I will keep everyone posted as this progresses.

Mr. O'Rights' condition:  


Mr. O'Rights has a form of cancer that his doctors say is most likely terminal. 
They have given him about 8  months to live.


O'Rights is a fighter and he is working with his doctors AND also doing things 
on his own to try to survive. 


Survive?  He wants more than to survive - he wants to cure his terminal cancer.
He is working with Life Extension Foundation for products and ideas and doing 
other things.  Also several cryonicists from the medical and scientific 
community have sent him some new info on the latest developments in fighting 
cancer. The support for him is starting to gather!


Meanwhile we are going to try hard to have the needed $30,000 in the bank for 
when it may be needed.


The Venturist policy is as follows:


If for some reason Mr. O'Rights is not suspended at legal death we will refund 
the contribution to the contributor UNLESS the contributor instructs us to use 
it for some other similar charity venture, for instance the suspension of 
another person who needed financial help.  The venturists are a nonprofit 
organization and no one in our group ever takes any salary or profit or 
compensation of any kind.  All donations go to the cause they are intended for!


O'Rights wants to come back in the future to see how things are working out and 
see if in the future we humans can create a better form of government based more
on Libertarian principles.
