X-Message-Number: 30901 Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2008 18:25:39 -0600 From: "Finance Department" <> Subject: Would Alcor's Board Now Be Open to Change? ------=_Part_71949_31002312.1217463939344 Content-Disposition: inline It has been a while since anything about the idea of giving Alcor members the right to vote for their board of directors, has been discussed here or elsewhere. Since that last discussion, two of the board members most vehemently opposed to that, resigned from the board. Perhaps it is time for the remaining board members to come here to CryoNet and state their positions on this issue, and their reasons for those positions. I invite each of you on Alcor's board, to do just that. Right here and right now. Alcor's members certainly should have the right to know where you stand, and from what I see and hear, many are very interested. Even possible future Alcor members such as myself, are interested. In my own case, interested as in "I'd never join a cryonics organization where I have no say in how it is run". Thanks, FD ------=_Part_71949_31002312.1217463939344 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 [ AUTOMATICALLY SKIPPING HTML ENCODING! ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=30901
