X-Message-Number: 30930 Date: Sat, 9 Aug 2008 19:45:28 -0600 From: "Finance Department" <> Subject: Still No Hope For Alcor ------=_Part_55688_28323940.1218332728306 Content-Disposition: inline It has now been 10 days since I posted here an open invitation to all Alcor Board Members to state their positions on giving Alcor members the right to vote for who is on their Board. Not hearing a single response, I surmise this can be taken as the usual arrogant "kiss off" message and that the firmly-entrenched good ol' boys club will continue, despite the departures of Van Sickle and Mondragon. The only current Board member who might be excused from ignoring my invitation is Merkle, who long ago published his opinions against the subject: http://www.alcor.org/Library/html/perpetuating.html This article, as to having any kind of logical support for his position, should be an embarrassment to any scientist, and we thought he was one. Debunking of same can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/693ln8 So to those Alcor members who do care, all I can say is sorry - looks like just more of the same 'ol. Most Alcor members don't care, and they will keep getting what they deserve - bad and costly decisions, poor management and hiring, arrogance and lack of accountability. ------=_Part_55688_28323940.1218332728306 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 [ AUTOMATICALLY SKIPPING HTML ENCODING! ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=30930
