Subject: Alcor's emergency financial plans

I'd like to know how Alcor, at least, will protect its assets (sports bar
investments aside) if the banks it does business with just seize up and die some
Friday afternoon. We know that a rough beast, its hour come round at last,
slouches towards Wall Street to be born when the pinstripes sacrifice a Sunday
for emergency trading. You can almost smell the soiled underwear on the people
talking on CNBC this early Sunday evening as I type this.

"Around 2010 the world will be at a new orbit in history. . . Life expectancy
will be indefinite. Disease and disability will nonexist. Death wll be rare and
accidental -- but not permanent. We will continuously jettison our obsolescence
and grow younger." F.M. Esfandiary, "Up-Wing Priorities" (1981).
