I checked online and got bids of $500 a year, but when they did the medical they managed to find tiny anomalies that made them boost the price to $7-800. I called Rudy and he found a good insurer for $575 who boosted to $600 after the medical. (Prices approximate; it's been a few years.) I think Rudy knows his business and cryonics and our needs and is worth his commission -- whatever it was; I didn't pay it the company did. I doubt that much better deals are available through personal research. Alan Mole In a message dated 9/18/2008 3:48:43 A.M. Mountain Daylight Time, writes: Don't get me wrong. Rudi Hoffman helps a lot of people get funded for cryonics. People who are willing for him to make commissions off the premiums they pay, because they are too busy or lazy to do the research and find better deals themselves. So his efforts, though sometimes portrayed with the flavor of a used car salesman, are in general to be appreciated. Flav **************Psssst...Have you heard the news?
