Well no, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia. Perhaps if you 
could provide a brief explanation of what it's all about and the exact date 
on which it falls, then I can either celebrate it myself or at least think 
of my US friends on that day. (I think it was originally to celebrate a 
successful harvest by your founding fathers. Is that correct?)

Halloween is becoming more popular here.

I am dismayed that any cryonicist possesses an SUV. I have been told that 
they comprise 1/6 of US vehicles but account for 1/4 of rollovers.
