As usual, Charles Platt in his discussion of risk, managed to completely
evade the issue at hand. Absolutely none of the scenarios he described
have *anything* to do with the situation alluded to in Saul Kent's memo to
Alcor's board. In fact, I would tend to agree with Charles' evaluation of
the risks and benefits in the circumstances he described.

The actual danger Saul and I were talking about, is one which exposes
the patient involved to a high risk of complete *destruction* regardless
of which organization has custody of that patient. AND, also regardless of
whether or not the storage organization has no connection at all to the
transport team that comits this "risk".

Perhaps Charles thinks that he can goad me into being more irresponsibly
explicit, if so he is wrong. However, I do feel compelled to at least try
and encourage possible victims to ask direct questions.
