Subject: Is this a circular argument (religion)?

I have had a few people tell me that I'll go to the "hot place"
if I don't accept Jesus or God.

I've had one irritating person tell me that I don't have to
choose a religion as long as I accpet Jesus.

If I, for argument's sake, choose Jesus, then I would choose
Christianity, which is the umbrella for a number of specific
movements (Catholicism, Baptism, Evangelicalism, etc.).

In my view, If I choose Jesus, then I choose religion.

Does this make sense?

Is this a circular argument?

It's not that I plan to adapt any religion.

I have simply found religion and supernatural issues not
to be a fit for me.  

To me, there is no afterlife.

That's just one reason why I am a cryonicist.
