Let go of that oil-stained horse and buggy whip you are holding onto:)

As of 2005, 86.5% of our energy came from the combustion of fossil fuels,
preserved solar energy. Our sun produces 386 billion billion megaWatts of
energy, so there is more than enough energy. Heck, if I had a Chevy Volt
sitting in my garage, my first question would be, how long can I safely keep
gasoline in my car before it goes bad?

For those who don't know, Earth hour is Saturday the 28th, the day of this
cryonet distribution. Non-essential lights off from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

If it were up to me, I would take a greater portion of the stimulus money
and use it in support of renewables to build a stronger energy economy here
rather than spending roughly 700 billion a year on foreign oil. Doing so
provides jobs, strengthens our economy, and reduces our national debt. Our
energy policy should be treated as a wartime effort and some of those auto
factories that are being shutdown should be re-tooled to make windmills and
such.
