In Cryonet # 31564, Dani Kollin plugs his book "The Unincorporated Man."

I've ordered my copy, even though I've just had to spend over $2,000 on dental
work and I need to rebuild my savings.

I notice from the book's website, http://www.theunincorporatedman.com/, that it
describes the cryonicist hero as a "brilliant industrialist named Justin Cord."
Doesn't that reinforce the stereotype, which we keep trying to correct, that
only wealthy alpha males resembling Ayn Rand heroes can afford cryonics?

"Around 2010 the world will be at a new orbit in history. . . Life expectancy
will be indefinite. Disease and disability will nonexist. Death will be rare and
accidental -- but not permanent. We will continuously jettison our obsolescence
and grow younger." F.M. Esfandiary, "Up-Wing Priorities" (1981).
