There are those who want cryonics, but, for some reason, can't afford it. I understand that a portion of O'Right's costs were taken up when Marce Johnson died and was cremated. Espeically in these trying economic times, how can we in the cryonics community help those who are having a hard time saving money for cryopreservation? I was turned down for insurance for health reasons (mainly, emotional issues surrounding my mother's death). I was lucky in getting a group policy at my place of work to cover my costs. I was recently laid off, and had to convert my group policy to whole life. I hope not to need cryonics for a while (I'm 45), but I'm trying to get peace of mind.
