Hi again!

These messages make me want to make 3 comments:

First, Brian Wowk and Mike Darwin are entirely correct about how many laws
and regulations surround us. A good tactic for controlling people, yes?

Second, I have remained a member of Alcor, at least for now, because of my
own experience with the two "unbundled" organizations: Trans Time and BACS
(now ACS). It didn't work ... even worse, it eventually turned into a
disaster. ACS does not seem to be recovering; and because I've found Art
Quaife personally likable, I'm sorry that things went this way. But it IS
a poor precedent for unbundling. On the other hand, Biopreservation and
Cryolife may well be different from TT and BACS in some small, crucial
detail, so that the precedents for unbundling simply don't apply.

So I am watching and waiting to see how things turn out.

And third, although I refuse to discuss this further until all the pettiness
dies down, yes, Alcor itself does need a change of constitution. It does
so not because of any personalities but because of how organizations work;
and I doubt that anyone in Alcor or elsewhere could have a useful discussion
about this question until the sniping back and forth ceases.

I thought it had. But it looks like I was wrong.

			Long long life to all,

[ Thomas, I think that you meant "CryoCare" rather than "Cryolife" above.
Perhaps it was that "Evil Being" at work again? :-) - KQB ]
