Subject: Alcor members class action against Alcor to stop wasting mone...
Alcor members should band together to stop Alcor from wasting our members' money
on pointless exhumations of corpses AFTER judgements have been made. The case
of Orville Richardson was already decided, after wasting money on that pursuit
and Alcor won't just stop. Alcor members should stop Alcor. Sanity is on our
side. The Alcor board has become insane and is damaging the reputation of the
cryonics industry as a whole. Witness the latest observation by Rick Ross's
Here are the Alcor members reponsible for this nightmare...
Alcor Board of Directors
James Clement, J.D.
Ravin Jain, M.D.
Ralph Merkle, Ph.D.
Michael Riskin, Ph.D., CPA
Michael Seidl, Ph.D., J.D.
Tim Shavers, J.D.
Brian Wowk, Ph.D.
Our exactly legal ability to stop Alcor as Alcor members is unknown to me-- I'm
not legally trained at all-- however I DO understand higher lines of reasoning.
And what Alcor is doing is UNREASONABLE and DAMAGING to the reputation of
"cryonics as a whole".
I've been banned from cryonics discussions all over the place, so if you agree
with me on this point, link back to this post in the cryonet archive where it
will appear-- to refer to this idea. Stop the insanity. Don't be a cryo-idiot.
I'd like someone on the inner circle to expose how the votes are divided on the
board over this... and individualize it for us.
To ALL board members-- YOu ALL make it impossible for me to be respected when I
speak of cryonics. You bring shame to cryonics. Wowk-- I'm especially purturbed
with you-- with your insistence on treating cryonics as a medical stragegy
only-- I would have thought you would have publicly protested this move if it
came to this.
THE PHYSICAL ASPECT of cryonics must take precedence over the FINANCIAL aspect--
so lay off the relatives who got to the Richardson body first. The body is
gone. Cease and desist. Quit wasting MY membership money-- as little as it is.
