This is encouraging if the drugs can be delivered by mouth and aren't dependent 
on careful diagnosis. (That is to say it doesn't matter giving them to someone 
who turns out to be ill from some other cause.) But anything that requires scans
or other detailed professional intervention isn't going to work simply because 
it isn't possible to set up an infrastructure that will react quickly enough to 
an emergency that is fairly common. If someone has to wait a week or more for 
professional diagnosis there will be too much repair work to be done.


I notice that there are plenty of thyme supplement products for sale. It would 
be amazing (and therefore unlikely) if there are already pills in herbalist 
shops that would cure strokes and no one has noticed.
