politicians will do anything for media time. 

Anything legal.


So if this story stays alive in the media long enough, some politician(s) will 
act to grab some face time in the media by proposing some law to, for example, 
put cryonics out of business. That would be a Bad Thing. The ultimate Bad Thing.

So let the story die. If it is no longer on TV, no politician will do anything.


If we address the issue, then the media will use that provide a conflict between
the two sides. They will do that in order to draw viewers.


Now, if we do nothing, then the media has only ONE side, and cannot create a 
conflict. You need TWO sides for a conflict. Don't give them a side by saying 
something or addressing the issues.


See, your problem is that you are thinking like a cryonicist. You are thinking 
all, truth and justtice and logic and stuff like that. Don't do that. That don't
work outside of math and physics and computer programs. You need to stop that.


Let the story die. Yeah, we might conceivably lose a couple of people over the 
next year or two. So what? better than being run out of business entirely.



Alcor and cryonicists should stay out of the media right now. Say nothing. 
Because if this story stays alive in the media, the politicians will use it to 
get some face time by legislating cryonics out of business. They will use us, 
kill us, just to get themselves on tv. Don't let them do that to us. Stay OUT of
the media until this story is dead.
