These tools are used in routine medical procedures like hip and knee replacements every day." The tool being used in the photo from Alcor is not a "medical mallet," as they state in their defense. It is a ball peen hammer with a wooden handle, something that would NEVER be used in a hip, or knee replacement, (or any other surgical procedure). A medical mallet is made of surgical stainless steel, so it can be easily sterilized. For Alcor to attempt to pass that tool off as a medical mallet, only shows that they are either very ignorant, or very deceptive, (or both).
