One item that needs to be said here, is that it is ultimately the members responsibility to prepare for his/her own suspension and deal with these family problems. The bad press that comes from Alcor's public battles with occasional failures, not to mention the money issues, is incredibly dangerous for us all, whether or not it ever becomes possible to reconstruct a badly decomposed body and brain. The thinking at Alcor may be that any publicity is better than none, but that is not so, especially in this fractious age. We should stop this and let our contracts reflect that it is the members responsibility to deliver him or herself to the suspension team without family strings attached.
