X-Message-Number: 32597 From: Date: Wed, 26 May 2010 18:53:35 EDT Subject: Sudden VS slow death I think most people die slowly of illnesses they know they have, and they die in a hospital or hospice. Obviously, others go to bed and die in the night, or drop dead on the street of a heart attack, or die in accidents. In order to know how much effort I should put into alarm systems to indicate my heart has stopped or the like, can anyone tell me the percent of slow, gradual, expected deaths VS the percent of sudden or unexpected ones?
