Mr. Johnson is not in hiding, or on the run, and it's irresponsible for Mr. Ettinger to refer to him as a "fugitive." Johnson is being represented by attorneys in three states, and I'm quite sure the authorities of all those three states know where Johnson lives and works. If any of them really wanted him, they would go pick him up. This whole mess about an interstate extradition, over a civil matter, seems ridiculously absurd, to me. Most states will not force one of their citizens to attend civil depositions, or even civil trials, in other states. Nor will they allow their citizens to be extradited for civil matters.
