X-Message-Number: 32724 From: Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2010 15:56:57 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Johnson objectively Here's a suggestion for a more objective approach to evaluating Johnson's book: His most serious allegations are that crimes were committed by Alcor or its employees--felonies and misdemeanors including murder. Well, the climate of opinion is not so favorable to cryonics as to discourage authorities from prosecuting or to pressure the courts to favor cryonics. Yet we note that, as far as I know, there have been investigations but no charges against Alcor or its people. The only reasonable assumption is that no serious evidence of crime was found. On the other hand, there are court orders against Johnson which are still pending.
