X-Message-Number: 33410 From: Kennita Watson <> Subject: Fwd: Cryonics book Date: Wed, 2 Mar 2011 02:42:05 -0800 References: <> --Apple-Mail-5-780262209 Marta et al.: While editing may not be "the problem", it is _a_ problem, and the one I consider myself best qualified to solve. That said, there are *lots* of potential problems, and lumping them all together into "writing it AND getting it published" isa great way to cow oneself into total deer-in-the-headlights paralysis. What would be pros and cons of writing the book as a group effort? What publisher(s) would one approach? What about self-publishing? What would be some attributes of a "strong pro-cryonic book"? Given the subject matter of the book, wouldn't having the book signing publicity tour be based around cryonics go without saying? I would say writing it AND getting it published would be the biggest hurdle. However, it would be nice to have a strong pro-cryonic book and a book signing publicity tour based around cryonics > > Long life, > > Marta > > --Apple-Mail-5-780262209 Content-Type: text/html; [ AUTOMATICALLY SKIPPING HTML ENCODING! ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=33410
