Subject: CRYONICS : Green Hell

If you have a good faith and are very religious, you know God will save you
and you don't need cryonics. If you are interesterd in cryonics, you have
switched from heaven to hell. Now, Hell's best color is green, so I suggest
to bath cryonics patients in powerful green light before cooling them, so
that they will be best fitted to hell environment.

Now I'll try to convince some reader I am serious:

The inside part of a cell is not a simple bag with floating molecules
inside, it is a very organized medium. In bacteria, mitochondria and
plant's chloroplasts, most reactions take place on membrane surfaces. In
more evolved eucaryotic cells, the volume is too large to get a sufficient
reaction level in two dimensional membranes, so that most effects unfold in
one dimension on a scafolding made from some specialized molecules. One of
these reactive systems is made from tubulin, the building block of both,
microtubules and the centrosome. Here I am mostly interested in the second
element: It is a double ring made from tubulin, in a cell region endowed
with a high concentration of the free molecule. ( In fact, there are two
kind of tubulin, but that is of no interest here).

It seems the tubulin rings are a kind of primitive eye. Why a cell must
have a vision organ? I know of no answer in the scientific litterature, so
I risk my own explanation: All aerobic reactions produce a very noxious by
product : the free radiacal H2O2. In fact, the real free radiacal is the so
called Singulet Oxygen, an excited form of the oxygen atom released by H2O2
reactions. The singulet oxygen falls back to its ground level by radiating
a green photon.

Is the cell's "eye" a monitor of the H2O2 activity? This molecule is mostly
neutralized by the Super Oxyde Dismutase enzyme, S.O.D. for short. So my
theory runs as follow: Cells monitor the H2O2 level by detecting the green
light radiated from the singulet oxygen state. That information must be
exploited in a way to discover so that it can regulate the S.O.D.
production. At least this could be one of the pathway regulation of S.O.D.

If that is true, a powerful source of green light able to get its way
inside cells would stimulate the anti oxydant S.O.D. production. In a body,
most cell live many hours after official death ( that is why organ
transplant is possible at last ). So, why not use that spare time to induce
a large S.O.D. production and lessen the effects of free radicals generated
when cells die.

It seems relatively simple to verify that idea: An eucaryotic cell culture
under green light must contains more S.O.D. and so be able to neutralize
more H2O2. This small experiment could open the way to an important
application. The use of green projectors before cooling in a first stage
cryonics process would not cost very much, it is practical technology with
very cost effective results.

Now, the message you don't undergo : The gravitational radiation emission
in a pot cracking process. (As good as neutrinos in cooling down some
objects).

A word about T. Donaldson message # 3616 : Indeed, I have not signed up
with any cryonics organization. My project is to do so someday, most
probably with CI. There was a problem : how to get CI from Europe? This
seeems to be largely solved now. It remains the question of the french law:
You can't be officially death in France and at the same time be anything
else than a rotting flesh stack, at least at brain level.

The solution seems to try to escape the medical system when terminally ill
and go to England before official death. That needs a full local
organization, outside CI or its representative in U.K. I must meet some
people on the subject next week, but such things are long to put in place
:-(.
