I was asking you a direct question, which as yet you have not answered ... although what you say makes me wonder more about your answer. Which of us is the superstitious one may be something we will find out with time. As I hope I have made clear, I'm happy to modify myself (and incidentally, you're reading too much into my statement that "we must think over.." the changes we want. I wasn't claiming that it had to be collective at all!!!!). Without any idea of how to do an uploading in any practical sense, and with no clear idea of how critical features of our brains work, you seem believe that "uploading" will solve our problems. In terms of uploading a human being, you haven't the vaguest idea what that might mean, yet you still think it will be an improvement. You don't even know what kind of computer to upload yourself into. If this is a philosophy it reminds me far too much of a little boy who sees his first locomotive and decides he wants to be a choo-choo train. Long long life (in whatever form you wish ... after consideration, of course) Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=3892
